Huzzah New Investigation

Good morning everyone, I've been invited to join an investigation this weekend locally here in Historic Brooklyn NY. They even we're kind enough to include my partner whom they've never met. Should be an interesting evening. Will we capture any evidence? Who knows but being out in the world among like minded folks is ALWAYS a wonderful thing. Of course if we do capture any evidence I'll be sure to trumpet about it here. Enjoy your weekend , if setting off Fireworks for this Holiday be careful. 

Slow it down

It seems another investigator was kind enough to illuminate me in the ways of ITC applications. She let me know that slowing things down to about 70% of normal will let you understand the results better. I just did one via YouTube that only allows you to adjust to 50%

Alas I misunderstood her meaning. She meant the delay in milliseconds not the audio speed. Here's the half speed recording so you can get a good laugh out of my misunderstanding :)

The Portal Paranormal ITC App First Look

The Portal Paranormal ITC App First Look ,  an experimental application for spirit communications. This is a Free app in the Google Play Store . Alas there is no iOS version of the app at this time. The premise of the app is to facilitate communication between the living and the spirit worlds. All sounds are recorded in reverse to try to mitigate false positives while investigating. June NYC Paranormal Meetup

Good morning everyone, this evening we will be hitting the NYC Paranormal Meetup. Hope to see some of your smiling faces there. This will be my first foray to this groups meetup. I'm hoping for excellent discourse and perhaps even to learn a thing or three. They seem to keep the number of attendees to a manageable level which should help everyone hear each other which is a good thing in my mind.

Best Vlog and YouTube setup 2016 This is my idea of the perfect setup for Vlogs and YouTube at this time without investing a fortune. The Rode VideoMicro shotgun microphone on top of the Panasonic LX100 are VERY capable Ultra High Definition video camera and that sitting atop the Tascam DR-60D digital Recorder for doing dual system sound since alas one of the LX100's few shortcomings is its lack of a microphone in Jack. Ultra high def is often erroneously stated as 4K and for me it's close enough tho it's ONLY 3840*2160 instead of True 4K at 4096*2160 :) please give us a thumbs up and subscribe. Paranormal Equipment 3

Paranormal Equipment 3 taking a quick look at a white noise generator a couple of digital audio solutions and even an inexpensive LED Light array. The audio solutions include a Tascam DR22WL, as well as an old smartphone, in this case an iPhone 3GS coupled with a Tascam iM2 microphone. A Homedics White noise generator and a Neewer CN-160 LED light array.

Spirits using White Noise to communicate?

Did an initial test last night with the White noise Generator. Tried EVP's with it for 5-6 minutes not a peep other than the shhhhhhhh of white noise. Then grabbed phone and continued another 5-6 minutes asking questions with both the white noise generator and a Spirit Box app running. The app spit out myriad answers while the white noise generator just kept doing its thing spitting out white noise.

Is this conclusive? Of course not, the Phone apps are made as Novelties and while fun to use I don't consider them valid evidence. I'll have to borrow a Ghostbox/Spiritbox and try again soon. Will likely film this version.
